Other Applications
The current MicroEyeŽ product is a sampling device approved for use in the peripheral vascular system, or subcutaneous, intramuscular, and adipose tissue. Once in situ the process of sampling (i.e. simple diffusion driven by concentrations gradients) means that most water soluble substances smaller than large proteins can be recovered to some extent and in combination with appropriate sensing technologies can then be monitored.
